The Garment District also known as the Fashion District is the hub of the production and sewing process for all Coren Moore dresses. This very special, less than one square mile area is home to the majority of New York's showrooms and tonumerous, very well known fashion labels such as Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, Liz Claiborne and Nicole Miller, just to name a few. This neighborhood accommodates all aspects of the fashion process-from design and production to wholesale selling. No other city has a comparable concentration of fashion businesses and talent in one neighborhood. New York is arguably the fashion capital of the United States, if not the world, generating billions in sales and promoting affordable, domestic manufacturing and entrepreneurship opportunities for new and seasoned designers alike.

"Save the Garment Center", a campaign spearheaded by notable designers such as Nanette Lapore, Diane Von Furstenberg, Anna Sui and several other fashion industry insiders works to preserve New York City's Fashion District. Vast improvements to non-conducive zoning laws are being proposed and slowly with growing support and awareness, the revitalization of this country's fashion home is becoming a priority to all focused on domestic apparel production and manufacturing.
